I love comedies, sci-fi, and good-story shows.

Larry David is god — I love all his work. His most famous two are Curb Your Enthusiasm and Seinfeld, and I can’t say enough about them. In LD’s world, it’s beyond life — he describes life from an abnormal perspective, beyond the structure of life, from nothing to something. Seinfeld is loosely based on LD’s younger years; Curb is the unreal-real-life story after Seinfeld.

My top 2 is Succession and Game of Thrones. I just finished Succession yesterday — this show is pretty pretty pretty heavy for me mentally. I always need a long time to recover from the pressure when I’m watching it. Looking back now, I feel each episode packs so much info from more than one angle. The characters and story are sooooo good, like a wonderful historical-power saga. That reminds me of GOT — that’s why I’m putting it here too.

Maybe it’s Star Trek and Scavengers Reign. I’ve loved imagination since I was a child, so I get into Star Trek easily and it relaxes my brain lol. I love the infinite cosmos and storylines without limitation. I’d recommend Lower Decks if u haven’t watched it before — it’s a modern animated take with lots of references to the older series. Scavengers Reign is something mindblown — beyond phenomenon, huge huge big big brainhole, left a serious impression on me.

Maybe it’s Hacks, Arrested Development, or Breaking Bad (never finished Breaking Bad, just started, but my fri told me it’s not bad). Hacks gave me a lot of courage to work hard without blaming the outside world for anything. Besides that, it’s super energetic and funny.

idk… maybe it’s something I haven’t watched yet. Or maybe it’s In Treatment — I watched some character’s storyline and it reminded me of personal feelings and old memories, so maybe I could put it at no. 5.
